I believe that was also after the kurds got betrayed a few times too.

A while back Tankie complained to me about taking Ghadafi out (which is kind of the same problematic tactic of not supporting a resistance capable of replacing them) because now Libya is stuck an anarchy with human slavery...
But the thing is, Ghadafi started the human slavery trade in Libya.
Couldn't go worse? Pinochet, Branco and all the other dictatorships the US put in place would like a word. America helped the Mujahedeen, which led to the Taliban, Al Qaeda and ISIS for fuck's sake. They are magnitudes worse than the Islamic Republic, it's not even close.

I'm not arguing on the label, whether it's a Republic or not. I'm arguing that it can, in fact, be a lot worse than the Iranian regime.
