How was CGI first integrated into film? And what film at the beginning of CGI stood out or people completely unaware of? How did actors and audience feel about it being used? Was this the 1st AI?? (lemmy.world)

That's the first that came to mind for me too. I remember better reception from critics though. I especially remember comments about what an amazing job they did crossing the uncanny valley
