❗️Jordan reports intercepting 20 missiles, but Iran says only 12 were launched

Jordan’s military said on Thursday that it had intercepted 20 missiles launched from Iran, following an announcement by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) that it had targeted a US command center in the country.“At dawn on Thursday, Jordanian air defense systems and the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted and shot down 20 missiles that had been launched from Iran towards the Azraq area in Zarqa governorate,” a statement quoted a military official as saying, referring to an area about 80 kilometers east of Amman.
“The interception resulted in the fall of a number of fragments, without any human casualties or material damage,” the statement added.
However, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said in a statement on Thursday morning that it had only fired 12 ballistic missiles at Jordan.
