The reality of green energy is that it's difficult to lead on this at a state level, not impossible, but structurally limited.
Red states have actually succeeded with wind power, largely because it's become the cheapest option on the market, even when state-level subsidies got rolled back. But for a truly effective transition, the heavy lifting has to happen at the federal level, and that's just not coming from this administration.
So we'll still see growth, the economics guarantee that now, but we'll fall far short of what we could achieve with actual federal support. The market is dragging us forward despite the politics, not because of it. That's the frustrating reality, but it also means the underlying momentum is already stronger than the people in charge.
