Going through an old archive, I found this beaut of a shot.
These are evidently a couple of the historic, 18th century Kinderdijk windmills, of which there ~19 total in South Holland, The Netherlands. They've collectively been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997.
As for being "inhabited," I take it that they're maintained by a group of caretakers and service-people, if that counts?
