I am happy to let you know that my lobbying at work to ditch 12 Oracle production databases in favor of postgresql has been successful. I'm doing my part.

(Plus, oradb is a fucking PITA)

My university uses an Oracle system. You have to manually input 15 character chart strings on every purchase and expense. It's so needlessly complex at the user level we need 15 minute videos on how to request a PO number.
