I didn't know they made a show about The Sacred Band of Thebes. Actually that would be an interesting show especially if they centered it around the war between Sparta and Thebes.

I legit don't get the reference because the last TV show I watched was Hellsing Ultimate and I have no clue what's going on outside of Nazi vampires.

Oh the tumblr show, got it. Not making fun of the show just a strong association while from back when I was interacting with the New Vegas fandom circa 2014.
