I just had my two-week check up after my latest foot surgery, and there is still some infection left that needs debriding. They have a cancellation on Monday, or if I can’t take that I’ll have to go back on the waiting list. The longer I have to wait, the more the infection will spread and the longer it will take to treat (it’s so hard to treat as I’m immunocompromised).

I need to let them know tomorrow whether I am able to take the Monday appointment, otherwise they’ll give it to someone else. The NHS pays for the surgery but they don’t pay for:

the bandage boxes (I need two, £44 each) - £88 hospital transport - £26 iodine patches x 2 boxes - £25 laundry disinfectant - £10.79 per bottle, need several

I don’t have the money for this, I’m still waiting for my disability benefit backpay, I’ve had a monthly payment which all went on rent and debt repayment.

£200 would pay for all of this. At the very least I need to be able to pay for the bandage boxes and hospital transport. If anyone can help please PM me. If I can’t raise it by tomorrow it’s back on the waiting list.
