Yes, and this is not evidence, its just "reports of private messages"

No-one has a recording of these private messages? Or some Israeli solders boasting about them on social media?

For all we know this could be some troublemakers anywhere in the world making those calls.

In this media climate, claims with poor evidence is counter productive. It will be used to dismiss claims with stronger evidence.

Not believing the victims of genocide is certainly a take. This is NYT not presstv.

I believe the victims. I just don't blindly believe journalists that don't share evidence or corroborate sources. Thats what Israeli propaganda does.

Always remember that a news agency like the NYT is always beholden to their owners first. Especially American ones. Beware "fair weather friends", just becuase they agree with you does not mean they support you. They are for profit companies first.

It's because NYT is beholden to America that I trust them on this one. These kinds of reports aren't beneficial to the American or Israeli narrative in any way.

What even is America. America is a big place. Its like comparing Egyptians to Iranians because they are all "Middle East".

You cannot Trust journalism that does not follow good journalistic practices when they report. Its how you generate eco chambers and why Israel get billions of people to ignore their crimes.

Beware fair weather friends. You will find the NYT will fight against your interest on topics more important than Palestine, like wealth inequality. As bad as Israel is, it is still not killing nearly as many people as wealth inequaliy.

Never heard anyone call the NYT trustworthy

I very much trust NYT. But only when their reporting goes directly against the US imperialist agenda.
