Don went ahead and notified me about this new position at around 6:30 a.m. PDT, so I might as well introduce myself here (hopefully, this doesn't break any of the rules I don't know about, Don).
The name's Mugita Sokio (surname: Mugita), a Protestant Historicist who always looks at history from a sense of how the book of Revelation in Christianity (not the mainstream form, to be clear) had been fulfilled in its prophecies over the past 2,000 years. This is on our almost 6,000 year-old planet (yes, I'm a young earther). That's where I have most of the history I've learned as of the past year, so that's where I have my perspective. This is why I tend to get downvoted on Lemmy a lot, due to me questioning mainstream narratives (both conservative and liberal political views of an event), and going down a different path. I break the narrative of duality, hence, why I get downvoted a lot (and frankly, I don't care about that, as I have thick skin).
Interpreting history from a historicist sense is easy for me, and I use this formula: If an event is talked about all over news media (including the alternative of the mainstream), there's a very good chance it was scripted by the Jesuit Order (who wrote the script of history since at least the 1500's), and it was performed by the 33rd or higher degrees of Freemasonry (a Jesuit front since 1776's founding of the Bavarian Illuminati). Be it a ritual sacrifice of a homo sapien disguised as a suicide, or a humiliation ritual against all homo sapiens by the Holographic Ultimate Materia for the Absolute Network (HUMANs). It's all about forcing people to practice Roman Catholicism, which will be the Mark of the Beast (reverence [forehead] and obeisance [right hand] to the Pope, enforced since 538 AD) enforced again. It hadn't been that way since 1798, but will be after WWIII settles.
If you have any questions for me, I can answer them here in a timely manner... I hope, anyway.
I see. If you really believe in the "young earth" based on religious texts (I presume) and that any historical even discussed in the media was faked by Jesuits, I doubt if I'll be giving much credence to any historical information you can offer. That doesn't mean you can't be a good mod though, I guess. Perhaps there can be some interesting historical events or perspectives that you can share, but I'd definitely be alerted I should be looking for concrete evidence given that you believe in Christian prophecies.
You don't think genuinely esposuing bronze age beliefs and being fundamentally opposed to basically every branch of science is a problem for their credibility? I'd say that's disqualifying for even being able to keep up with normal social conversation, you might as well put your faith in the Taliban to be fair and reasonable.
This has got to be a troll, that's the best case scenario, so in either case they have no business peddling their bullshit here, they can take their delusions back to the desert caves they came from.
I said "I doubt I'll be giving much credence to..." what they might say.
I'd be happy to let you know specifically if my opinion is stated as such, as I had been doing in this community. That said, most of the mainstream narratives tended to be lies, and knowing how to apply Revelation to the 1,900 or so years after its writing in 95 A.D., it's likely at the hands of the Earth Beast, which is the Jesuit Superior General (that's the symbol of the Earth Beast in Revelation 13).
Fun Speculation about the Scriptures: They were likely not released in full until 700 years or so after Revelation was written. My speculation is that the Catholic Church had to edit them to deny the deity of Messiah Yeshua (whom most call Christ Jesus).
So, you're saying that the 'mainstream narratives' are lies, but you believe in the accuracy of the book of Revelation? Why are you involved with a history community and not something about Christianity?
The Catholic Church denies that Jesus is a deity? I haven't seen that before.
