I struggle to see how this doesn't amount to some kind of self-directed dogmatism,* but perhaps your answer is that it is and that's good.
*Maybe that's a weird thing to call it, but the claim seems to be that you should believe what you believe because it's what you believe, and ever questioning it is somehow a sign of weakness. I don't think I expressed being unsure of what I was saying, but if I take your claim about how far you read at face value, then you seem to be saying that any level of scrutinizing one's own beliefs makes that person unsure of their beliefs, which is just kind of a weird claim to make. You understand that the point is not to float in eternal doubt but to develop beliefs that withstand scrutiny, right?
