Where in the EU do you still have to pay to relieve yourself? So I know where not to travel.
In Austria it is extremely common in larger train stations, larger autobahn rest stops, etc. They have turnstiles at the door, you pay somewhere between 0.50โฌ and 1โฌ, and often get a little voucher of the same value, which you can only use in the overpriced shops near the toilet.
Like, everywhere?
Also a thing in Germany and the Czech republic in my experience
Very common in The Netherlands unfortunately. You can usually find a free one if you have some time to look/ask around for one but I didn't this time
