Hello interlopers of Lemmy!

This is a community for people to discuss, ask questions and show their appreciation to Hello Game's No Man's Sky.

As my experience with Lemmy is in it's infancy and my experience in managing a community in general is bar none, please do give me some leeway as I get my footing. But for general rules...

Rules:

• No NSFW

• Treat others with respect

• Keep on topic, unless there is about the community itself or a fundamental topic that affects all Lemmy/Sh.itjust.works users

• Please only make posts in English

Also, as this is a budding experience for me, I am fully open to suggestions and/or constructive criticism when it comes to running a community.

Also also, I use Jerboa for Lemmy which doesn't seem to have notifications, and I also won't be around 24/7 to see what's happening, so expect slow or long waits between my interactions.

Hope all goes well

I know a guy named Sean Murray. Chill dude.

I do a double take every time I'm reminded that NMS has a Sean Murray.

I haven't played in awhile, but NMS was fun last time I tried it. Honestly, it was fun when a friend gave me their copy in disappointment on day 2. I don't follow hype trains, having learned my lesson in the 00s... So I didn't have any expectations for the game beyond the article titles I'd see bashing it. It was genuinely fun before they made it better.

I hope this means they're adding more lifeforms. I didn't play too long since I was mid-game in another game, but I keep wanting to check it out again.

I'm sure you've heard their success story, but NMS has turned into one of the greatest open-world sandbox games ever made. And somehow, they just keep on making it better, free of charge. I can't jerk these guys off enough, to be perfectly honest. Even if you never get invested into the game, it is always fun to hop on and play.
