Never said it was ai slop just uncredited random sloppy ass posting. Something of no value and OP posts them all over Lemmy.
The various communities in Lemmy shouldn’t become depositories for users shitty clip art / low effort slop.
OP should've credited the artist, but calling perfectly good art "slop" because OP didn't credit the source is a bit uncalled for.
OP NEVER credits artists and just widespread posts crap.
It’s not “perfectly good art”. It’s a low level clip art style illustration. A simple cutesy illustration just like all the other simplistic cutesy illustrations OP spams all over Lemmy.
It’s slop, the post more-so than the content, it’s just happens to be human generated.
Im not judging the artist and overall quality of their work so much as commenting on the spammy nature of frivolously posting random illustrations instead of actual content in communities based around real shit.
Lemmy shouldn’t be the “little golden books” of the internet. But slop postings like this will make it so. I’ve never cared to know the “artist” behind a photo of a dog, but I’d prefer to have an actual photo taken of an actual dog rather than cutesy slop posts.
