If you haven't seen it yet, we recently made the announcement that starting July 1, 2026, the price of "Jellyfin Premium+ One Super Unlimited (with Ads)" will increase to $0.00 USD*. There has been a lot of enthusiasm regarding charge backs, and we're simply blown away by the community's response.

As we've had a high volume of inquiries, I'd ask if you could please wait until I'm off the support email shift to reach out about this issue. I've attached our schedule so you'll know when it is safe to reach out.

Thanks, and happy streaming!

*Example price in USD. Exact pricing in other currencies may vary.

This is how you capitalize on someone else's mistake. Made me actually laugh.

It reminds me of Apple's response to Vista's pricing tiers in 2007.

During the Apple keynote that year they said there was going to be an OS X Basic for $129, an OS X Premium for $129, an OS X Business for $129, and an OS X Ultimate for $129.

Vista pricing tiers were absurd. It still is, but vista was extra.

yeah, it wanted a new computer. I installed it on a few boxes at work, it was pretty. In the end, driver issues and slow perf made it unreasonable

Few people even wanted vista for free

Even better when the world couldn't afford such outrageous required specs at that time, most were searching for low cost "netbooks" iirc
