Why did Bezos think that going on that interview was a good idea? Because he's disconnected and deluded as fuck. They all are, surrounded by sycophantic yes men. And then they recreated their yes men, packaged it in machines, and forced them into every facet of our lives without our consent. Is a billionaire's delusion all that different from AI psychosis?

I, for one, am enjoying everyone tearing into him. They're scared. Tax the rich is a moderate position.

This title reminds me of a recent conversation I had. I said Trump has (unintentionally) done more to fight climate change than any other president in history. So many countries have stopped oil dependent infrastructure projects and shifted to nuclear, wind, or solar projects just since he invaded Iran.

If we can avoid WW3 the world might actually benefit from this presidency. Americans are fucked. But, we deserve it, and if we can figure out out shit without a civil war I hope you all go easy on us and help us fix a parasite in our society that's been allowed to live with us since our first civil war.

I can't speak for the world obviously, just 1 person, but I hold an individual US citizen in the same regard I would an individual Russian citizen: surrounded and bombarded by propaganda and disinformation while being systematically stripped of all ability to change the system around them. I hold no ill will towards anyone drowning in that system, and I hope things change for you.

With that said, in both cases, I think it's basically impossible for outside forces to help. The change has got to come from within. We have basically infinite examples of how and why outside imposition, even with the best of intent (which it never is, but w/e) just doesn't work. Good luck, but US citizens gotta clean their own house.

If other places timed it right and waited for economic conditions to get to their absolute worst in the US I think other countries starting peoples revolutions would inspire the US. Were like a tinderbox right now with very little direction of the potential energy.

I am pretty sure the rest of the world will need to intervene In America to get things under control, the billionaires will continue to be a plague on the world and will use violence at every turn. Not to mention the Americans still have the ability to destabilize most countries in the world. Not everyone has a Straight of Hormuz, underground facilities, and the drone capabilities that are needed to fend of the pedo state.

Nothing unites like a common enemy.

And if there's one good takeaway, Trump and the Grand Ol Pedophiles have done a fantastic job exposing all of the weakest and flawed parts of our government and society.

We just need to keep accountability and progress at the forefront and ensure we don't get complacent again. A better future for everyone is possible should we have the courage and determination to bring it about.

Immediate upvote for "Grand Ole Pedophiles" I have been trying to make this a common phrase IRL. I wish I lived on a main street so I could paint a giant sign.

I said Trump has (unintentionally) done more to fight climate change than any other president in history.

I think it's more than that. We live in dangerous times. AI and recent political developments will enable governments to spy on their citizenry and control the flow of information in ways which have never been seen before. And, while I have my doubts, I can't fully rule out the possibility that they actually manage to create an AGI. In any case, the window of opportunity for people to influence their own fates is closing. And the people holding all the cards are some of the worst human beings on the planet: sociopaths, narcissists and pedophiles, living in a bubble of privilege and delusion, not understanding or caring about anything that is good in the world. These are the people who have the future in their hands. It's a terrifying state of affairs.

Ironically Trump has brought this situation to a head in a way that maybe, just maybe, could give us a chance to turn things around. He has laid bare the corruption, the abuse of power, the cruelty, idiocy and sheer evil that is such a driving force in not only the political ruling class but also the corporate infrastructure behind it. We have been shown what's behind the curtain and how urgently it needs fixing. This might, in a chaotic and uncertain way, be just what was needed.

We might need some reeducation camps

Naaa. We are already at the "sink or swim" stage and the swimming ain't going so well. Still, the Masks are off

Well, I meant in a post revolution society. When Nazis lay down their arms you either execute them, imprison them for life, or attempt reeducation and rehabilitation. Depending on the individual circumstances we'd need all three of those as options if any type of post civil war society could develop. A lot of the reason we are where we are today is because of how insufficient the reconstruction was after our first civil war.
