I will to this day not watch V. It scared the DICK out of me when I was a kid and now I am a burly old falsetto speaking husk of a man minus a dick and still can't finish the show.

Yes. My parents forbid it after I had a nightmare about the skin being ripped off of a face. Nothing adulthood won’t cure. It’s actually pretty great in a 3 heads kind of way, rodents and all.

For me it was that one scene in a cave where I think there was an alien hatching or something. It was so fucking visceral, HARD John Carpenter vibes from those special effects. Mind you I was 8 at the time.
