Agreed. No system is going to work so long as it allows power to be consolidated among a ruling class, or allows censorship of political cartoons solely on the basis of a Dear Leader's ego. America and China share these issues alike, and many more.

There are no first hand sources of knowledge on this, because there is no Chinese language coverage of this supposed ban. Anywhere. From any point in time.
