the series of the inverse powers of 2 converges to 2
if you think about it in fraction you get
1 + 1/2 = 3/2 = 6/4
6/4 + 1/4 = 7/4 = 14/8
14/8 + 1/8 = 15/8 = ....
notice how the result's numerator is always one less than double the numerator, such that the result is always under two
The math question ignores that there is a minimum size to beer, at some point you either get beer or something less than beer added.
