TIL that Phosphenes (the visual effect that you get when you rub your eyes) can also be triggered by magnetic brain stimulation, which has been experimentally used for brain-to-brain information trans (anarchist.nexus)

They used EEG & transcranial magnetic stimulation to send left/right information with an 81% success rate!
