Brett Bair was giving him an opportunity to do damage control but he's too stupid.
"Donald Trump has doubled down on his remark about not considering the financial plight of everyday Americans when considering foreign policy, saying that what he had said was a “perfect statement.”

I hope he keeps repeating it until the midterms .
Never admitting he was wrong is his damage control strategy
