Being single for a decade now the worst ones are when I'm dating someone awesome only to wake up and be like... yup... that's never happening lol usually pretty bummed out for an hour or two.

I've had this happen a few times. One time the happiness felt so real, that once I've woken up by brain must've still been flooded with endorphins because I just sat there in absolute melancholy. I was happy from a life I've dreamt and sad that it was never real. That dream didn't let me go for a couple of days.

Being in a relationship is no safeguard against such dreams. Just the other week I dreamt that there were two of my wife. She and her double were looking especially good, they were feeling flirty and talking shit to each other in a good-natured way. The vibes were immaculate, and I went in to make my move... And then seagulls woke me up. I was depressed for hours, that shit was almost the best dream of my life.
