Even if so...there are at least 150 other countries out there that would be better off having a revolution then Venezuela which at the bare minimum is still progressive and opposed to letting fascists take political control.
I don't know, man. Losing an anti-imperialist country that happens to have the largest Oil reserves in the world to the United States and still have the sanctions and embargoes placed on them after capitulating to the imperialists looks like a loser move to me. Even the Soviets managed to get huge trade benefits by signing the M-R pact with Nazis that later helped them prepare for the war. Iran had their sanctions lifted by fighting back against US instead of capitulating.
Look, I sympathize, and I don't really like the way it seems they are rolling over so easily either but... calling for an overthrow which has a large chance of just creating further damage and instability this early seems a bit premature. Deng's China and their deals with the US could of been viewed as capitulating too and yet here we are.
It's an insult to compare this comprador regime to Deng Xioping's China.
Edit: Except for the invasion of Vietnam.
