All true, but we shouldn’t forget that the regime also offers its henchmen certain perks to buy their loyalty: ICE, for example, provides such “benefits” - thousands upon thousands of MAGA morons with absolutely no qualifications have been hired for a salary they could only dream of.
So, for the people the regime needs, it certainly provides advantages. Or to put it another way: Many of those who still support the regime don’t do so because they’re so gullible, but because they personally benefit from it. In that sense, they’re not just right-wing extremists, but also opportunists - and that makes them all the more dangerous.
Including pardons for any and all crimes, especially human trafficking, murder and grand theft - for a price, of course.
Exactly. That’s precisely why this corrupt regime attracts the most unscrupulous people. There’s simply no other way to describe it than as organized crime, because that’s exactly what it is. It has absolutely nothing to do with a democratic government - not even by U.S. standards.
