Only a quarter? Or are they parsing their survey to split the "staged" vote from those who think it was "allowed to happen".
You don't need to hire a gunman. You just need to make an idiot think he has a clear shot. Then let him hit a brick wall.
If you just catch it from the TT/IG people talking, the conspiracy has some pretty decent legs. Strange responses, no responses. smiles, wasn't supposed to be there, people kept eating, guests stayed at the table, even though this isn't the first time... normally there is pretty strong protocol for the president to enter public they bring their own security and their security isn't run by idiots.
Truthfully, none of the suspect behavior really shows much more than people not knowing what was going on or the fact that he's been surrounding himself with people who are not as professional security-wise as previous heads.
Do I think there's no chance it was staged? No. Are there suspect actions by people in the room? Yeah, but nothing that couldn't just be explained by high levels of noise in the room and relatively decent sound deadening.
It could have been staged; the previous thing could have been staged. He's angering a lot of people, it's not like it should be entirely unexpected.
The US has a long history of attempts.
