i'm not addressed here and i think your words are really kind, but fiy transfems often do not enjoy being called buddy.
please don't say now that buddy is gender neutral. i am sure it is to you, and that u mean well, but many trans fems perceive it differently and after all you are trying to be an allie to us, right? sowwy no offense intended just trying to spread knowledge :3
I was also going to comment the same thing, I can't even really express why I hate it so much. It somehow feels like the least gender affirming possible thing to call me.
I can second the "don't call me buddy" sentiment. If you'd like to refer to me the way you'd refer to a child, please use "sweetie" or "darling" or "miss."
