❗️Israeli army chief says military urgently needs more soldiers
According to The Times of Israel, Israeli Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee in a closed-door session that the army urgently requires additional troops to sustain Israel's so-called "multi-front war."
“I am not dealing with political or legislative processes – I am dealing with multi-front warfare and defeating the enemy,” Zamir reportedly said.
He called on lawmakers to advance legislation to draft ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) men, extend mandatory military service from 30 to 36 months, and increase the defense budget.
