Yes, but the importance given to the prologue could be hinting at more. Maybe we'll be able to play some missions with James McCloud in the past. Maybe there's more development on what happened to him once you finish the game. Maybe in this version, you rescue him in Venom. Or maybe:

It ends being just like previous games where it's not clear if he's still dead and showed up as a ghost or what.

Who knows. I think it's cool we're getting more cinematic stuff with this saga anyway!

True, only time will tell, I'm hoping it becomes more than just another one and done face lift. We need more Star Fox.

Me too. I'm really hoping this is the proper reboot they attempted to do with Zero and we start seeing more Star Fox!
