Nah, Australia has compulsory voting, done on the weekend, and takes 20 minutes max.

Millennials are the largest voting block and catering to boomers doesn’t win as everyone votes not just the old retired people with spare time.

Compulsory voting sounds fantastic. Young people in my country don't vote because they have no idea what's happening, or have been brainwashed by tiktoc into thinking they have no power.

It’s alright, it solves one problem.

Doesn’t help that the voters are largely politically ignorant and manipulated by the mainstream media to support whatever. Also we ultimately still have 2 parties due to our preferential system funneling votes up, so that’s fun.
