Then wait till you hear about the way they are about to change recaptcha. A captcha app that only runs on verified devices, hand gestures, face scans ... I've only learned of that today... I hate this timeline.

Unfortunate. I'll just have to avoid sites that enforce that dumbass captcha app, driving their traffic down one visitor at a time.

This is an infuriating thing to read, especially the day after seeing an article about Anthropic's Scary Powerful AI spending over a hundred dollars failing to solve a single captcha.

Im pretty sure every recaptcha I've encountered has been for a site I could live without.

If I see this app and identity shit I'll probably just save myself some more money by backing out and giving up.

recaptcha 3 runs invisibly in the background, so you can't really tell what sites it's running on
