Not-so-fun fact: Crimes are only crimes if the law is enforced.
Drunk driving is illegal where I live (as it is in most places).
My local bar stopped replacing the fence around their parking lot after the 6th time a drunk driver drove straight through it. None of those drivers were arrested. Drunk driving is de facto legal in my town.
If corruption is powerful enough, it’s not corruption at all-it’s law. Unspoken, unwritten, but law.
