And he seems to have little to no remorse for his actions. Just following orders is not an excuse.
He had a fucking mental breakdown... One side mocked him: called him a pussy and a coward and he just wanted to quit. The other side criticizes them for doing his duty.
Dude just can't win. SMH.
I've seen his interviews, he focuses on his PTSD, the "I saw terrible things" side, not the "I did terrible things" side.
And again, just following orders is not an excuse. It doesn't matter that it was mandatory. It wasn't an excuse for the nazis, it's not an excuse here.
And what evidence do you have for anything he actually did?
