The problem is that he was never funny. Went to see him in Atlanta one summer when he first started getting big. He informed us that he was filming his Christmas special soon and needed to practice so we got 90 minutes of Christmas jokes while it was 100Β° and 90% humidity outside and the one time an audience member made a well timed heckle (and it was non-disruptive) he paused the whole show and berated the audience, calling us all rude.
The way he would constantly advertise his website during his act still haunts me to this day... it randomly just creeps up on me.
