I personally don’t because I view giving any kind of support as subsidising their problematic views.

This is very unfortunate. I'm one of the intellectual types, of which I posted about in a venting community, and that the hivemind is just not the best look for someone who's intellectual (considering that a lot of people give me flak for what I say). That's why I'm considered to have a low reputation score on Lemmy Today, not so much on Feddit.online (since I don't use that one to comment often).
