Funny enough, Greek colonies there actually pre dated Alexander's conquests.
I know some of the nobility and royalty in Greco-Bactria were actually born in Greece as late as the 2nd century BCE, so there was clearly still a significant degree of mobility there even as the Seleucids faded in the face of Parthian expansion.
