I have no idea about the reply. Not sure if it was a test or an actual Zionist.
As for the other question regarding "Jewish inhabitants", within the resistance, there are principled anti zionist collaborators that separate Judaism from Zionism and other ideologies that aren't as principled. This might be the case of the latter.
In a war against Nazis one could argue that declaration of racism in anti-German sentiment loses its potency especially when we consider the defnition of racism needs a power dynamic to validate the prejudice. We are brought up in Western liberalism but those murderous sentiments should not define the morality of those on the ground fighting the genocidaires. We need not be cautious of others confusing us with fascists/liberals and their ahistorical ZOG.
