Oh I know. Believe me, I know. I was 18 when I earned my private pilot's license, skipped a day of college my Freshman year to take a checkride. Before things actually heated up, I made a command decision as PIC: The Cessna 172 I flew is equipped with four seats, so BOTH grandmothers are going on the first airplane ride.

3 weeks later, I was out of people who wanted to go on airplane rides. People get tired of hearing you talk about it fairly quick. It's just how it goes.
