House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) on Sunday said Democrats will not focus on impeaching President Trump if they regain a majority in the lower chamber after midterm elections.
“I’ve made clear from the very beginning that our top priority is going to be to drive down the high cost of living,” the House minority leader added.
The House minority leader has lauded Democrats’ push for redistricting nationwide in an effort to pick up additional House seats and signaled that the party will advocate more for working-class Americans, after Democrats saw losses from the key demographic in the 2024 election.

Democracy isn't just about voting once in a while, and boy democracy is less about "getting what you want" than removing wannabe dictators.
But then again your whole system is broken, so good luck, because you need to fix it, and that happens by hard work from the bottom up.
I have no idea where you got the idea that I'd ever vote for Trump. I'm an anarchist, and a union rep, and an activist doing organizing in my local community, but I also always vote for the best candidate I can to mitigate harm. All I am doing here is trying to help liberals understand why Harris lost the election, because I want the Democrats to win. I want to try and avoid another fascist dictatorship, which is inevitable if the Democrats continue to be fascism lite.
It's what centrists assume when anyone says something they don't like.
