That's not a lot

Compared to:

In 2024, global meat production is estimated to have risen by 1.3%, reaching 365 Mt. Source

And meat production has overall doubled since the 1990s. Source (in French)

From the post's article :

Overall, vegan meat and seafood products accounted for just 1% of total retail sales of meat in the US, much lower than the 13% milk market share occupied by non-dairy alternatives.

In fact the title even makes clear that private funding has declined for another consecutive year.

Things like this tend to grow very non-linearly. Slowly for a long time then speed up a lot more when the social norms around it start shifting
