Even without the earth day, people really need to learn to be eco friendly. My country is very polluted, people keep throwing their trash everywhere, I see mothers teaching their children to throw the junk at land; while the trash bin is just 10m away.
The air here is no longer clean, sicknesses are everywhere, we just learnt to hide them and pretend we r fine.
it's pretty clear that a cultural shift is necessary in a lot of places for things to get better, but the problem is that there may not be enough time before climate change starts fucking people over.
considering that it the cultural shift towards the condition we're currently in took generations; i think that it will take time.
