Unfortunate... In the fleeting few replies he's made, they've all boiled down to "only hardcore players want [thing everyone wants], we don't have enough people because they're all working on warbonds".
I've been slowly losing faith in AH over time but nothing has changed for the better. They only respond to major, obvious issues with the game or their development process when there is mass community outrage, and even then, only do the bare minimum to fix it to then continue pumping out new paid content. The AMA has definitely not regained any of my respect nor made me more confident in the future of the game, and that makes me sad.
He's made some more replies now.
I agree that only responding to major issues isn't the best strategy when there's a ton of smaller issues piling up. Like, for example, vaulting has been broken for how long now? I absolutely hate using the auto-vault, but it's the only option when the alternative is...not vaulting when I really need to.
Maybe helldivers 2 will just always be a flawed game and they should take a few years to rebuild on a new engine. I think that would solve most problems honestly ๐
