He's managed to burn every bridge and alienate anyone who might have defended him. He took his success on SNL and trampled it in the dust.
He burned his first bridges while on SNL. So much so that he's been banned from hosting a few times. It seems every new generation of cast has to re-learn the lesson of keeping the Chase ban active.
