Who are you gonna call to take notes after someone breaks into your house?

Yeah, someone broke into our house when I was a kid. He took off when we walked in. The dispatcher asked if he was still in the house, so my mom said no. The cops didn't show up until the next morning, said the damage was too small to warrant an insurance claim, and then left without actually doing anything.
