Isnt it still breaking social rules?
like it's legal to be drunk at the plane and all, but you can still get ostrizied for it? π€
Unless you're real new to weed you can certainly manage a flight stoned without causing a scene.
Just donβt waaaaay overdo it or your blood pressure will drop low enough to pass out.
You can be drunk as fuck on plane as long as you don't cause issues. They just don't care unless you disturb other customers or even worse, loss of profit for the airliner
It's the only way I tolerate cross-Atlantic flights.
On a cross pacific flight they got me hammered, which was great because it was noon when I departed and arrived and I needed to sleep
Being drunk in public is a no-no because drunk people can be assholes. Not true for weed unless you're having a panic attack or similar.
Having a panic attack while super high is awful. It's like a regular panic attack, but the sense of dread and lack of control over your thoughts is amped way up. At least that's how it was for me the few times it happened. It's part of the reason I try never to get too baked. I'm good with a single 5mg edible every once and a while. My days of bong rips and blunt rotations are behind me
I never been ostracized when drunk on a plane.
I'm always ostrich-sized.
Maybe there weren't any ostriches on your flight
Not sure about the rules in America, but here in Europe they'll sell you beer, wine and even spirits to drink on the plane. Sadly no weed, though.
In the US you can buy alcohol in flight, but its against the law to drink your own personal alcohol if you brought any onto the plane
If you fly first class, you typically can get a complimentary alcoholic beverage while everyone else is boarding, and then also get another once the plane is in flight.
Thats why on occasion if theyre offering first class upgrade for like $80-$100 Ill do it, especially as a tall person. The extra space is great, and if youre already planning to drink in an airport bar during a layover then its basically moot. Airport bars charge like $20 for a watered down cocktail with less alcohol in it than the drinks an attendant will make
My wife always gets an old fashioned on plane rides in the US.
