Let's not go crazy here. Feudalism was an evil that lasted for over a thousand years. Killing it was worth any cost.

The current wealth imbalance is orders of magnitude worse, the twisted and morally bankrupt ruling class shows even more naked contempt for us than any king ever did, and feudalism never threatened to make the entire planet uninhabitable. It's objectively worse now in a lot of ways and only the sheer amount of material wealth and comfort that exists and surrounds us make it seem tolerable.

No war but class war - we were born into a badly weakened, largely pacified labour movement. If we don't start playing hardball, we're going to end up back at feudalism; and this time Louis XIV will have nukes.

I agree and have made that same argument about how technology has made things different now.

Nevertheless, feudalism is the enslavement of the population, whether it's done with swords and pikes, or whatever the fuck we have going on here which is a lot worse.
