The insurance companies, working with Iran and Ansar Allah, are helping to block Hormuz and the Red Sea. Couple of drones and a few threats, voila, insurance rates go thru the roof, removing profits for maritime companies. You can bet shipping company CEOs would gladly risk the lives of a few merchant marines, if they knew that their sinking container ship was fully insured.
