Whelp, guess it's time to kidnap the king and some nobles and threaten to cut their heads off unless they sign a document granting you your rights back...
I never got that part of any story about the magna carta?
Wasn't that implied when they kidnapped the king?
No, as I understand the story, the nobles got together and made a list of demands, including the forgiving of all debts, jury trials, freedom of speech, and and the like. The kind had to accept it. Feudalism is more complicated than most people think, there are estates that vote on taxes for the king, the local lords control their areas, and with the entirety in the estates vote the king money.
When the estates refuse to render money to the king, that is where the magna carta was borne.
