I you bother to open the article and only just look under the header you will see also:
"The ag manufacturing giant will also make digital diagnostic, maintenance, and repair tools available to third parties for 10 years."
Which is a big deal for right to repair if you've followed this issue at all.
That is still only giving back an inch after they stole a mile
