I've been playing Old School Runescape during zoom meetings but I've done all that can be done in a free account and I don't wanna pay the exorbitant membership fee.

Looking for recommendations for a similar game that doesn't require a lot of attention and can be easily paused/resumed at will.

Must be able to run/emulate on Linux

My go-to for this is Stardew Valley

Doesn't Stardew have timed days?

You can pause!

Yeah but you can pause if you want. As long as it’s single player.

Then in that case, I'd suggest FTL: Faster Than Light. You can literally quit the entire game mid-battle and continue right from that moment; every single moment is saveable.
