What bothers me about this meme is that capitalism didn't exist back then, so Jesus couldn't have been an anti-capitalist, but solid commentary otherwise.

Perhaps you can argue he was an anti-capitalist in spirit.

I think this is meant more as a mirror to the current "patriots", fighting for the "good cause".

I'm well aware of that.

This just proves you don't know what capitalism is, because capitalism is an economic model based on private ownership of the means of production that started developing around mid-18th century England.

So, unless Jesus was a time traveler he couldn't have been an anti-capitalist.

Wait, so Jerusalem was freely given to Augustus when Jesus was doing his ministry‽

How are you confusing taxation through fiats with England's empire‽

Did even Judas’s trade completely forwent your reasonings‽

"How are you confusing taxation through fiats with England's empire‽"

I'm not, shut up. I already explained how capitalism is an ownership model that didn't exist until mid-18th century England.

So basically you have a rudimentary understanding of capitalism, and Jesus never fought the Gentiles’ master-nation politics.
Cripes, you truly are lost.

My understanding of capitalism is far more advanced than your "capitalism is when markets". You're simply projecting your ignorance on me. Well, that ends now.

Good riddance.

My goodness, thank you for proving Pharisees right!
